Hey Friend,
I hope this message finds you in a place where your heart is saying Yes. Yes to God's will, yes to His word, and yes to what He has promised. That is the first step in obedience. CONGRATULATIONS! I am super pumped that your heart and mind have said yes. I recently said yes and made some MAJOR life changes. Being able to add "Published Author" to my list of credentials was a pretty big deal. Can I be honest with you for a second? I was terrified! What if I missed God and took too long to publish? What if the cover isn't right? Should I make it available on e-book? What is the safest way to get this in peoples hands without creating unnecessary risks? So many thoughts ran through my mind and almost stopped me from doing what the Lord said to do.
It is very easy to be afraid. It is even easier to allow your fear to paralyze you. Fear will have every worse case scenario pop into your mind and further delay your steps in the direction of disobedience. But here is the secret, the fear doesn't just disappear. You can have faith that is bigger than that fear, you can speak to that fear, you can take away its authority, but it is still very present. What blessed me in this season was repeatedly hearing in sermons and from pastors that I admire was to do it afraid. If you continue to wait for the perfect moment, you will be waiting forever. If you are waiting for this overwhelming sense of confidence, you may be waiting a very long time.
Now is the time for you to go to God and listen for strategy. Ask Him to do the hard work and come up with a plan, a color scheme, a name, and connect you with people. You just do what you are instructed. God will give you the vision clearly, you just have to execute, or get people on your team that can assist with execution. One thing I want you to know for certain is that God asked you to do it for a specific reason. He has and will continue to give you every single thing you need to bring the vision and plan to life. What is holding you back? What ever it may be, today I want you to talk directly to it and take back that power it currently has over you.
You, my friend, have been given authority over every living thing, over every imagination, over every word curse spoken. Right now we declare and decree that no power on earth or in hell will stop you from fulfilling your God given purpose. We bind up the comparison, the envy, the insecurity, the fear, the lies, the taunts, the word curses, and the doubt that has taken root and we cast it to the pits of hell. You will walk confidently in the word of God. You will walk in obedience. You will have the faith and work ethic required to get it done and done well. No longer will you be paralyze by your fear. May you be strong and courageous from this moment forward and be led by the power of the Holy Spirit to walk this thing out. In the name of Jesus, it is so.
